سريع الحساب swift in reckoning .
{ أُولَـئِكَ
لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا كَسَبُواْ وَاللّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ } البقرة202
202. These will have a share of what they have earned. God is swift in
reckoning.
{ إِنَّ
الدِّينَ عِندَ اللّهِ الإِسْلاَمُ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِينَ أُوْتُواْ الْكِتَابَ
إِلاَّ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْياً بَيْنَهُمْ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِآيَاتِ
اللّهِ فَإِنَّ اللّهِ سَرِيعُ
الْحِسَابِ } آل عمران19
19. Religion with God is Islam. Those to whom the Scripture was given
differed only after knowledge came to them, out of envy among themselves.
Whoever rejects the signs of God-God is quick to take account.
{ وَإِنَّ
مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أُنزِلَ
إِلَيْهِمْ خَاشِعِينَ لِلّهِ لاَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً أُوْلَـئِكَ
لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ } آل عمران199
199. Among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in God,
and in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed to them. They are
humble before God, and they do not sell God's revelations for a cheap price.
These will have their reward with their Lord. God is swift in reckoning.
{يَسْأَلُونَكَ
مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَمَا عَلَّمْتُم مِّنَ الْجَوَارِحِ
مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللّهُ فَكُلُواْ مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ
عَلَيْكُمْ وَاذْكُرُواْ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ }المائدة4
4. They
ask you what is permitted for them. Say, "Permitted for you are all good
things, including what trained
dogs and
falcons catch for you." You train them according
to what God has taught you. So eat from what they catch for you, and pronounce
God's name over it. And fear God. God is Swift in reckoning.
{ أَوَلَمْ
يَرَوْاْ أَنَّا نَأْتِي الأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا وَاللّهُ يَحْكُمُ
لاَ مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ } الرعد41
41. Do they not see how We deal with the earth, diminishing it at its
edges? God judges; and nothing can hold back His judgment. And He is quick to
settle accounts.
{ لِيَجْزِي
اللّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ إِنَّ اللّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ } إبراهيم51
51. That God may repay each soul according to what it has earned. God
is Quick in reckoning.
{ وَالَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوا أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ الظَّمْآنُ مَاء حَتَّى إِذَا
جَاءهُ لَمْ يَجِدْهُ شَيْئاً وَوَجَدَ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ فَوَفَّاهُ حِسَابَهُ وَاللَّهُ
سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
} النور39
39. As for those who disbelieve, their works are like a mirage in a
desert. The thirsty assumes it is to be water. Until, when he has reached it,
he finds it to be nothing, but there he finds God, Who settles his account in
full. God is swift in reckoning.
{ الْيَوْمَ
تُجْزَى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَا ظُلْمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ } غافر17
17. On that Day, every soul will be recompensed for what it had earned. There will be no injustice on that Day. God is quick to settle accounts.
بغير حساب without measure
{ زُيِّنَ
لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ
وَالَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَاللّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ
بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ } البقرة212
212. Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and
they ridicule those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the
Day of Resurrection. God provides to whomever He wills without measure.
{ تُولِجُ
اللَّيْلَ فِي الْنَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ
مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الَمَيَّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَتَرْزُقُ مَن تَشَاء بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ } آل عمران27
27. "You merge the night into the day, and You merge the day into
the night; and you bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out
of the living; and You provide for whom you will without measure."
{ فَتَقَبَّلَهَا
رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنبَتَهَا نَبَاتاً حَسَناً وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا
كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزْقاً قَالَ
يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّى لَكِ هَـذَا قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ إنَّ اللّهَ يَرْزُقُ
مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
} آل عمران37
37. Her Lord accepted her with a gracious reception, and brought her a
beautiful upbringing, and entrusted her to the care of Zechariah. Whenever
Zechariah entered upon her in the sanctuary, he found her with provision. He
said, "O Mary, where did you get this from?" She said, "It is
from God; God provides to whom He wills without reckoning."
{ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ
اللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ وَاللَّهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن
يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
} النور38
38. God will reward them according to the best of what they did, and
He will increase them from His bounty. God provides for whomever He wills
without reckoning.
{قُلْ
يَا عِبَادِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَذِهِ
الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ وَأَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم
بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ }الزمر10
10. Say, "O My devotees who have believed, keep your duty to your
Lord. For those who do good in this world, is goodness. And God's earth is
vast. The steadfast will be paid their wages in full, without reckoning."
{ مَنْ
عَمِلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلَا يُجْزَى إِلَّا مِثْلَهَا وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحاً مِّن ذَكَرٍ
أَوْ أُنثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُوْلَئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ يُرْزَقُونَ فِيهَا
بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ } غافر40
40. Whoever commits a sin will be repaid only with its like. But
whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, and is a believer-these
will enter Paradise, where they will be provided for without account.
{ هَذَا
عَطَاؤُنَا فَامْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ } ص39
39. "This is Our gift; so give generously, or withhold; without
account."

{ وَلاَ تَطْرُدِ
الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ مَا عَلَيْكَ
مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ
وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
} الأنعام52
52. And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord, morning and evening, seeking His attention. You are not accountable for them in any way, nor are they accountable for you in any way. If you drive them away, you would be one of the unjust.
{ وَمَا
عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ وَلَـكِن ذِكْرَى لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ } الأنعام69
69. The righteous are in no way accountable for them; it is only a reminder, that they may be careful..
{اقْتَرَبَ
لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ
فِي غَفْلَةٍ مَّعْرِضُونَ }الأنبياء1
1. Mankind's reckoning has drawn near, but they turn away heedlessly.
{إِنْ
حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَى
رَبِّي لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ }الشعراء113
113. Their account rests only with my Lord, if you have sense.
{ثُمَّ
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ
}الغاشية26
26. Then upon Us rests their reckoning.
حسابكYour account
{ وَلاَ تَطْرُدِ
الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ مَا عَلَيْكَ
مِنْ حِسَابِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ وَمَا مِنْ حِسَابِكَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَكُونَ
مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ } الأنعام52
52. And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord, morning and evening, seeking His attention. You are not accountable for them in any way, nor are they accountable for you in any way. If you drive them away, you would be one of the unjust.

{وَمَن يَدْعُ مَعَ
اللَّهِ إِلَهاً آخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهُ بِهِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ }المؤمنون117
117. Whoever invokes another god besides God-he has no proof
thereof-his reckoning rests with his Lord. The disbelievers will not succeed.
حاسبناها حسابا شديدا
{وَكَأَيِّن
مِّن قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِ فَحَاسَبْنَاهَا
حِسَاباً شَدِيداً وَعَذَّبْنَاهَا عَذَاباً نُّكْراً }الطلاق8
8. How many a town defied the command of its Lord and His messengers?
So We held it strictly accountable, and We punished it with a dreadful
punishment.
سوء الحساب
{ لِلَّذِينَ
اسْتَجَابُواْ لِرَبِّهِمُ الْحُسْنَى وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُواْ لَهُ لَوْ أَنَّ
لَهُم مَّا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعاً وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لاَفْتَدَوْاْ بِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ
لَهُمْ سُوءُ الْحِسَابِ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ
الْمِهَادُ } الرعد18
18. For those who respond to their Lord is the best. But as for those
who do not respond to Him, even if they possessed everything on earth, and
twice as much, they could not redeem themselves with it. Those will have the
worst reckoning; and their home is Hell-a miserable destination.
{ وَالَّذِينَ
يَصِلُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللّهُ بِهِ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ وَيَخَافُونَ
سُوءَ الحِسَابِ } الرعد21
21. And those who join what God has commanded to be joined, and fear
their Lord, and dread the dire reckoning.
والحساب
{هُوَ
الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاء وَالْقَمَرَ نُوراً وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُواْ
عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ
اللّهُ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ يُفَصِّلُ الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ }يونس5
5. It is He who made the sun radiant, and the moon a light, and determined phases for it-that you may
know the number of years and the calculation. God did not create all this
except with truth. He details the revelations for a people who know.
{وَجَعَلْنَا
اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ آيَتَيْنِ فَمَحَوْنَا آيَةَ اللَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَا آيَةَ النَّهَارِ
مُبْصِرَةً لِتَبْتَغُواْ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ
وَالْحِسَابَ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ
تَفْصِيلاً }الإسراء12
12. We have made the night and the day two wonders. We erased the
wonder of the night, and made the wonder of the day revealing, that you may
seek bounty from your Lord, and know the number of years, and the calculation.
We have explained all things in detail.

يوم الحساب
{ رَبَّنَا
اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ } إبراهيم41
41. "Our Lord, forgive me, and my parents, and the believers, on
the Day the Reckoning takes place."
{ وَقَالُوا
رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ
} ص16
16. And they say, "Our Lord, hasten Your writ upon us, before the
Day of Account."
{ يَا
دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ
وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَى فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ
عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ } ص26
26. "O David, We made you a ruler in the land, so judge between
the people with justice, and do not follow desire, lest it diverts you from
God's path. Those who stray from God's path will have apainful punishment, for having ignored the Day of Account."
{ هَذَا
مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ } ص53
53. This is what you are promised for the Day of Account.
{ وَقَالَ
مُوسَى إِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ
الْحِسَابِ } غافر27
27. Moses said, "I have sought the protection of my Lord and your
Lord, from every tyrant who does not believe in the Day of Account."
{ وَإِن
مَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ
الْبَلاَغُ وَعَلَيْنَا الْحِسَابُ } الرعد40
40. Whether We show you some of what We have promised them, or We
cause you to die-your duty is to inform, and Ours is the reckoning.
حسابيه
{ إِنِّي
ظَنَنتُ أَنِّي مُلَاقٍ حِسَابِيهْ
} الحاقة20
20. I knew I would be held accountable."
{ وَلَمْ
أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيهْ } الحاقة26
26. And never knew what my account was.
حسابا يسيرا
{فَسَوْفَ
يُحَاسَبُ حِسَاباً يَسِيراً }الانشقاق8
8. He will have an easy settlement.
حسابا
{ إِنَّهُمْ
كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ حِسَاباً } النبأ27
27. For they were not anticipating any reckoning.
{ جَزَاء
مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَاء حِسَاباً } النبأ36
36. A reward from your Lord, a fitting gift.
حسبه
{ وَإِذَا
قِيلَ لَهُ اتَّقِ اللّهَ أَخَذَتْهُ الْعِزَّةُ بِالإِثْمِ فَحَسْبُهُ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ } البقرة206
206. And when he is told, "Beware of God," his pride leads
him to more sin. Hell is
enough for him-a dreadful abode.

{ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ نُهُوا عَنِ النَّجْوَى ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَاجَوْنَ بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَاؤُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ اللَّهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا اللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ } المجادلة8
8. Have you noted those who were prohibited from conspiring secretly, but then reverted to what they were prohibited from? They conspire to commit sin, and aggression, and defiance of the Messenger. And when they come to you, they greet you with a greeting that God never greeted you with. And they say within themselves, "Why does God not punish us for what we say?" Hell is enough for them. They will roast in it. What a miserable destiny!
{ وَعَدَ الله الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا هِيَ حَسْبُهُمْ وَلَعَنَهُمُ اللّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ } التوبة68
68. God has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the disbelievers, the Fire of Hell, abiding therein forever. It is their due. And God has cursed them. They will have a lasting punishment
حسبتم
{ أَمْ
حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ
الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ
الْبَأْسَاء وَالضَّرَّاء وَزُلْزِلُواْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ
مَعَهُ مَتَى نَصْرُ اللّهِ أَلا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللّهِ قَرِيبٌ } البقرة214
214. Or do you expect to enter Paradise before the example of those who
came before you had reached you? Adversity and hardship had afflicted them, and
they were so shaken up, that the Messenger and those who believed with him
said, "When is God's victory?" Indeed, God's victory is near.
{ أَمْ
حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ
الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُواْ مِنكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِينَ
}
آل عمران142
142. Or do you expect to enter Paradise, before God has distinguished
those among you who strive, and before He has distinguished the steadfast?
{ أَمْ
حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تُتْرَكُواْ
وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُواْ مِنكُمْ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذُواْ مِن دُونِ
اللّهِ وَلاَ رَسُولِهِ وَلاَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلِيجَةً وَاللّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
} التوبة16
16. Or do you think that you will be left alone, without God
identifying which of you will strive, and take no supporters apart from God,
His Messenger, and the believers? God is well Aware of what you do.
{ أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ
عَبَثاً وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ } المؤمنون115
115. Did you think that We created you in vain, and that to Us you will
not be returned?"
حسبهم
{ لِلْفُقَرَاء
الَّذِينَ أُحصِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ لاَ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ضَرْباً فِي الأَرْضِ
يَحْسَبُهُمُ الْجَاهِلُ أَغْنِيَاء مِنَ
التَّعَفُّفِ تَعْرِفُهُم بِسِيمَاهُمْ لاَ يَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ إِلْحَافاً وَمَا
تُنفِقُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ } البقرة273
273. It is for the poor; those who are restrained in the way of God,
and unable to travel in the land. The unaware would think them rich, due to
their dignity. You will recognize them by their features. They do not ask from
people insistently. Whatever charity you give, God is aware of it.
{ وَتَحْسَبُهُمْ أَيْقَاظاً وَهُمْ رُقُودٌ وَنُقَلِّبُهُمْ
ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَكَلْبُهُم بَاسِطٌ ذِرَاعَيْهِ بِالْوَصِيدِ
لَوِ اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَوَلَّيْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِرَاراً وَلَمُلِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ رُعْباً
} الكهف18
18. You would think them awake, although they were asleep. And We turned them over to the right, and to the left, with their dog stretching its paws across the threshold. Had you looked at them, you would have turned away from them in flight, and been filled with fear of them.

حسبو
{ وَإِنَّ
مِنْهُمْ لَفَرِيقاً يَلْوُونَ أَلْسِنَتَهُم بِالْكِتَابِ لِتَحْسَبُوهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ
وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى
اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ } آل عمران78
78. And among them are those who twist the Scripture with their
tongues, that you may think it from the Scripture, when it is not from the
Scripture. And they say, "It is from God," when it is not from God.
They tell lies and attribute them to God, knowingly.
{ وَحَسِبُواْ أَلاَّ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ
ثُمَّ تَابَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَاللّهُ
بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ } المائدة71
71. They assumed there would be no punishment, so they turned blind
and deaf. Then God redeemed them, but then again many of them turned blind and
deaf. But God is Seeing of what they do.
{ إِنَّ
الَّذِينَ جَاؤُوا بِالْإِفْكِ عُصْبَةٌ مِّنكُمْ لَا تَحْسَبُوهُ شَرّاً لَّكُم بَلْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ
مِّنْهُم مَّا اكْتَسَبَ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّى كِبْرَهُ مِنْهُمْ لَهُ
عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ } النور11
11. Those who perpetrated the slander are a band of you. Do not
consider it bad for you, but it is good for you. Each person among them bears
his share in the sin. As for him who played the major role-for him is a
terrible punishment.
{ إِذْ
تَلَقَّوْنَهُ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَتَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِكُم مَّا لَيْسَ لَكُم بِهِ
عِلْمٌ وَتَحْسَبُونَهُ هَيِّناً وَهُوَ عِندَ
اللَّهِ عَظِيمٌ } النور15
15. When you rumored it with your tongues, and spoke with your mouths
what you had no knowledge of, and you considered it trivial; but according to
God, it is serious.
حسبن
{ وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ
أَمْوَاتاً بَلْ أَحْيَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ } آل عمران169
169. Do not consider those killed in the cause of God as dead. In fact,
they are alive, at their Lord, well provided for.
{ وَلاَ
يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَنَّمَا
نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُواْ إِثْماً
وَلَهْمُ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ } آل عمران178
178. Those who disbelieve should not assume that We respite them for
their own good. In fact, We only respite them so that they may increase in
sinfulness. A humiliating torment awaits them.
{ وَلاَ
يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا
آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْراً لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ
مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ
وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ }
آل عمران180
180. Those who withhold what God has given them of his bounty should
not assume that is good for them. In fact, it is bad for them. They will be
encircled by their hoardings on the Day of Resurrection. To God belongs the
inheritance of the heavens and the earth, and God is well acquainted with what
you do.
{ لاَ
تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا
أَتَواْ وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحْمَدُواْ بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُواْ فَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّهُمْ بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ وَلَهُمْ
عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ } آل عمران188
188. Do not think that those who rejoice in what they have done, and
love to be praised for what they have not done-do not think they can evade the
punishment. They will have a painful punishment.
{ وَلاَ
يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَبَقُواْ
إِنَّهُمْ لاَ يُعْجِزُونَ } الأنفال59
59. Let not the disbelievers assume that they are ahead. They will not
escape.
{ وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ اللّهَ غَافِلاً عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ
إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الأَبْصَارُ } إبراهيم42
42. Do not ever think that
God is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only defers them
until a Day when the sights stare.
{ فَلاَ
تَحْسَبَنَّ اللّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِ رُسُلَهُ
إِنَّ اللّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ } إبراهيم47
47. Do not ever think that God will break His promise to His
messengers. God is Strong, Able to Avenge.
{ لَا
تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مُعْجِزِينَ
فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ } النور57
57. Never think that those who disbelieve can escape on earth. Their
place is the Fire; a miserable destination.
حسبنا
{ الَّذِينَ
قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ
إِيمَاناً وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ وَنِعْمَ
الْوَكِيلُ } آل عمران173
173. Those to whom the people have said, "The people have
mobilized against you, so fear them." But this only increased them in
faith, and they said, "God is enough for us; He is the Excellent
Protector."
{ وَإِذَا
قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءنَا أَوَلَوْ
كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئاً وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ } المائدة104
104. And when it is said to them, "Come to what God has revealed,
and to the Messenger," they say, "Sufficient for us is what we found
our forefathers upon." Even if their forefathers knew nothing, and were
not guided?
{ وَلَوْ
أَنَّهُمْ رَضُوْاْ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ
وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللّهِ رَاغِبُونَ } التوبة59
59. If only they were content with what God and His Messenger have
given them, and said, "God is sufficient for us; God will give us of His
bounty, and so will His Messenger; to God we eagerly turn."
حسبان
{فَالِقُ
الإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ سَكَناً وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ حُسْبَاناً ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ
}الأنعام96
96. It is He Who breaks the dawn. And He made the night for rest, and the sun and the moon for calculation. Such is the disposition of the Almighty, the All-Knowing..
{الشَّمْسُ
وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ }الرحمن5
5. The sun and the moon move according to plan.
{ فَعَسَى
رَبِّي أَن يُؤْتِيَنِ خَيْراً مِّن جَنَّتِكَ وَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهَا حُسْبَاناً مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتُصْبِحَ صَعِيداً
زَلَقاً } الكهف40
40. Perhaps my Lord will give me something better than your garden,
and release upon it thunderbolts from the sky, so it becomes barren waste.
حسبون
{فَرِيقاً
هَدَى وَفَرِيقاً حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الضَّلاَلَةُ إِنَّهُمُ اتَّخَذُوا الشَّيَاطِينَ
أَوْلِيَاء مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم
مُّهْتَدُونَ }الأعراف30
30. Some He has guided, and some have deserved misguidance. They have
adopted the devils for patrons rather than God, and they assume that they are
guided.
{ الَّذِينَ
ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُونَ
أَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُونَ صُنْعاً } الكهف104
104. "Those whose efforts in this world are misguided, while they
assume that they are doing well."
{ أَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُم بِهِ مِن مَّالٍ
وَبَنِينَ } المؤمنون55
55. Do they assume that, in furnishing them with wealth and children.
{يَحْسَبُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا وَإِن
يَأْتِ الْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّوا لَوْ أَنَّهُم بَادُونَ فِي الْأَعْرَابِ يَسْأَلُونَ
عَنْ أَنبَائِكُمْ وَلَوْ كَانُوا فِيكُم مَّا قَاتَلُوا إِلَّا قَلِيلاً }الأحزاب20
20. They assumed that the confederates had not withdrawn. But were the
confederates to advance, they would wish they were in the desert with the
Bedouins, inquiring about your news. And if they were among you, they would
have done little fighting.
{ أَمْ
يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ
وَنَجْوَاهُم بَلَى وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ } الزخرف80
80. Or do they think that We cannot hear their secrets and their
conspiracies? Yes indeed, Our messengers are by them, writing down.
{ وَإِنَّهُمْ
لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ
أَنَّهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ } الزخرف37
37. They hinder them from the path, though they think they are guided.
{ يَوْمَ
يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعاً فَيَحْلِفُونَ لَهُ كَمَا يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ
هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ } المجادلة18
18. On the Day when God will resurrect them altogether-they will swear
to Him, as they swear to you, thinking that they are upon something. Indeed, they
themselves are the liars.
{وَإِذَا
رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ وَإِن يَقُولُوا تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ
خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ
عَلَيْهِمْ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ
}المنافقون4
4. When you see them, their appearance impresses you. And when they speak, you listen to what they say. They are like propped-up timber. They think every shout is aimed at them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. God condemns them; how deluded they are!
حسبك
{ وَإِن
يُرِيدُواْ أَن يَخْدَعُوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ
اللّهُ هُوَ الَّذِيَ أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصْرِهِ وَبِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ } الأنفال62
62. If they intend to deceive you-God is sufficient for you. It is He
who supported you with His aid, and with the believers.
{ يَا
أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسْبُكَ اللّهُ وَمَنِ
اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ } الأنفال64
64. O prophet! Count on God, and on the believers who have followed
you.
حسبي
{ فَإِن
تَوَلَّوْاْ فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللّهُ لا إِلَـهَ
إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ } التوبة129
129. If they turn away, say, "God is enough for me; there is no
god except He; in Him I have put my trust; He is the Lord of the Sublime
Throne."
{وَلَئِن
سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلْ أَفَرَأَيْتُم
مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَنِيَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كَاشِفَاتُ
ضُرِّهِ أَوْ أَرَادَنِي بِرَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُنَّ مُمْسِكَاتُ رَحْمَتِهِ قُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
}الزمر38
38. And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the
earth?" they would say, "God." Say, "Have you seen those
you pray to instead of God? If God willed any harm for me, can they lift His
harm? And if He willed a blessing for me, can they hold back His mercy?"
Say, "God suffices for me. On Him the reliant rely."
حسبت
{ أَمْ
حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْكَهْفِ وَالرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا مِنْ آيَاتِنَا
عَجَباً } الكهف9
9. Did you know that the People of the Cave and the Inscription were
of Our wondrous signs?
حسب
{ أَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَن يَتَّخِذُوا
عِبَادِي مِن دُونِي أَوْلِيَاء إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نُزُلاً
} الكهف102
102. Do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants for
masters instead of Me? We have prepared Hell for the hospitality of the
faithless.
{ أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا
آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ } العنكبوت2
2. Have the people supposed that they will be left alone to say,
"We believe," without being put to the test?
{ أَمْ
حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ
أَن يَسْبِقُونَا سَاء مَا يَحْكُمُونَ } العنكبوت4
4. Or do those who commit sins think they can fool Us? Terrible is
their opinion!
{أًمْ
حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ
أّن نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَوَاء مَّحْيَاهُم
وَمَمَاتُهُمْ سَاء مَا يَحْكُمُونَ }الجاثية21
21. Do those who perpetrate the evil deeds assume that We will regard
them as equal to those who believe and do righteous deeds, whether in their life
or their death? Evil is their judgment!
{أَمْ
حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ
أَن لَّن يُخْرِجَ اللَّهُ أَضْغَانَهُمْ }محمد29
29. Do those in whose hearts is sickness think that God will not
expose their malice?
تحسب
{أَمْ
تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ
يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلاً
}الفرقان44
44. Or do you assume that most of them hear or understand? They are
just like cattle, but even more errant in their way.
{ وَتَرَى
الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً
وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّهُ
خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ } النمل88
88. And you see the mountains, and imagine them fixed, yet they pass,
as the passing of the clouds-the making of God, who has perfected everything.
He is fully Informed of what you do.
{لَا
يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ جَمِيعاً إِلَّا فِي قُرًى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِن وَرَاء جُدُرٍ بَأْسُهُمْ
بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيدٌ تَحْسَبُهُمْ
جَمِيعاً وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ }الحشر14
14. They will not fight you all together except from fortified
strongholds, or from behind walls. Their hostility towards each other is
severe. You would think they are united, but their hearts are diverse. That is
because they are a people who do not understand.
يحسب
{ وَالَّذِينَ
كَفَرُوا أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ الظَّمْآنُ
مَاء حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءهُ لَمْ يَجِدْهُ شَيْئاً وَوَجَدَ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ فَوَفَّاهُ
حِسَابَهُ وَاللَّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ } النور39
39. As for those who disbelieve, their works are like a mirage in a
desert. The thirsty assumes it is to be water. Until, when he has reached it,
he finds it to be nothing, but there he finds God, Who settles his account in
full. God is swift in reckoning.
{ أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَانُ أَلَّن نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ } القيامة3
3. Does man think that We will not reassemble his bones?
{ أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَانُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى } القيامة36
36. Does man think that he will be left without purpose?
{ أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّن يَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ } البلد5
5. Does he think that no one has power over him?
{ أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ } البلد7
7. Does he think that no one sees him?
{يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ }الهمزة3
3. Thinking that his wealth has made him immortal.
حسبه
{وَيَرْزُقْهُ
مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ
قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْراً }الطلاق3
3. And will provide for him from where he never expected. Whoever relies
on God-He will suffice him. God will accomplish His purpose. God has set a
measure to all things.
حسبته
{ قِيلَ
لَهَا ادْخُلِي الصَّرْحَ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا
قَالَ إِنَّهُ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي
وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ } النمل44
44. It was said to her, "Go inside the palace." And when she
saw it, she thought it was a deep pond, and she bared her legs. He said,
"It is a palace paved with glass." She said, "My Lord, I have
done wrong to myself, and I have submitted with Solomon, to God, Lord of the
Worlds."
حسبتهم
{وَيَطُوفُ
عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ
لُؤْلُؤاً مَّنثُوراً }الإنسان19
19. Passing among them are eternalized youths. If you see them, you
would think them sprinkled pearls.
