CHAPTER ONE
THE ACCOUNT
Swift in reckoning
.
These will have a share of what they have earned. God is swift in
reckoning. 002:202
Religion with God is Islam. Those to whom the Scripture was given
differed only after knowledge came to them, out of envy among themselves.
Whoever rejects the signs of God-God is quick to take account. 003:019
Among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in God,
and in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed to them. They are humble
before God, and they do not sell God's revelations for a cheap price. These
will have their reward with their Lord. God is swift in reckoning. 003:199
They ask you what is permitted for them.
Say, "Permitted for you are all good things, including what trained dogs and falcons catch for
you." You train them according to what God has taught you. So eat from
what they catch for you, and pronounce God's name over it. And fear God. God is
Swift in reckoning. 005:004
Do they not see how we deal with the earth, diminishing it at its
edges? God judges; and nothing can hold back His judgment. And He is quick to
settle accounts. 013:041
That God may repay each soul according to what it has earned. God
is quick in reckoning. 015:051
As for those who disbelieve, their works are like a mirage in a
desert. The thirsty assumes it is to be water. Until, when he has reached it,
he finds it to be nothing, but there he finds God, Who settles his account in
full. God is swift in reckoning. 024:039
On that Day, every soul will be recompensed for what it had
earned. There will be no injustice on that Day. God is quick to settle accounts.

Without measure
Beautified is the life of this world for
those who disbelieve, and they ridicule those who believe. But the righteous
will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. God provides to whomever He
wills without measure. 002:212
You merge the night into the day, and you merge the day into the
night; and you bring the living out of the dead, and you bring the dead out of
the living; and you provide for whom you will without measure. 003:027
Her Lord accepted her with a gracious reception, and brought her a
beautiful upbringing, and entrusted her to the care of Zechariah. Whenever
Zechariah entered upon her in the sanctuary, he found her with provision. He
said, "O Mary, where did you get this from?" She said, "It is
from God; God provides to whom He wills without reckoning. 003:037
God will reward them according to the best of what they did, and
He will increase them from His bounty. God provides for whomever He wills
without reckoning. 024:038
Say, "O MY devotees who have believed, keep your duty to your
Lord. For those who do good in this world, is goodness. And God's earth is
vast. The steadfast will be paid their wages in full, without reckoning.

Whoever commits a sin will be repaid only with its like. But
whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, and is a believer-these
will enter Paradise, where they will be provided for without account. 040:040
This is our gift; so give generously, or withhold; without account.

Their account
And do not drive away those who call upon
their Lord, morning and evening, seeking His attention. You are not accountable
for them in any way, nor are they accountable for you in any way. If you drive
them away, you would be one of the unjust. 003:052
The righteous are in no way accountable for
them; it is only a reminder, that they may be careful. 003:069
Mankind's reckoning has drawn near, but they turn away heedlessly.

Their account rests only with my Lord, if you have sense. 026:113
Then upon us rests their reckoning. 088:026
Your account
And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord, morning and
evening, seeking His attention. You are not accountable for them in any way,
nor are they accountable for you in any way. If you drive them away, you would
be one of the unjust. 006:052
His account
Whoever invokes another god besides God-he has no proof
thereof-his reckoning rests with his Lord. The disbelievers will not succeed.

Strictly
accountable
How many a town defied the command of its Lord and His messengers?
So we held it strictly accountable, and we punished it with a dreadful punishment.

The worst reckoning
For those who respond to their Lord is the best. But as for those
who do not respond to Him, even if they possessed everything on earth, and
twice as much, they could not redeem themselves with it. Those will have the
worst reckoning; and their home is Hell-a miserable destination. 013:018
And those who join what God has commanded
to be joined, and fear their Lord, and dread the dire reckoning. 013:021
The calculation
It is He who made the sun radiant, and the moon a light, and determined phases
for it-that you may know the number of years and the calculation. God did not
create all this except with truth. He details the revelations for a people who
know. 010:005
We have made the night and the day two wonders. We erased the
wonder of the night, and made the wonder of the day revealing, that you may
seek bounty from your Lord, and know the number of years, and the calculation.
We have explained all things in detail. 017:012
The Day of Account
"Our Lord, forgive me, and my parents, and
the believers, on the Day the Reckoning takes place. 014:041
And they say, "Our Lord, hasten your writ upon us, before the
Day of Account.” 038:016
"O David, We made you a ruler in the land,
so judge between the people with justice, and do not follow desire, lest it
diverts you from God's path. Those who stray from God's path will have a painful punishment, for having ignored the Day of Account.” 038:026
This is what you are promised for the Day of Account. 038:053
Moses said, "I have sought the protection of my Lord and your
Lord, from every tyrant who does not believe in the Day of Account.” 040:027
Whether we show you some of what we have promised them, or we
cause you to die-your duty is to inform, and ours is the reckoning. 013:040
My account
I knew I would be held accountable.” 069:020
And never knew what my account was. 069:026
Easy settlement
He will have an easy settlement. 084:008
Any reckoning
For they were not anticipating any reckoning. 078:027
A reward from your Lord, a fitting gift. 078:036
Hell is enough for him
And when he is told, "Beware of God," his pride leads
him to more sin. Hell
Is enough for him-a
dreadful abode? 002:206
Have you noted those who were prohibited from conspiring secretly,
but then reverted to what they were prohibited from? They conspire to commit
sin, and aggression, and defiance of the Messenger. And when they come to you,
they greet you with a greeting that God never greeted you with. And they say
within themselves, "Why does God not punish us for what we say?" Hell
is enough for them. They will roast in it. What a miserable destiny! 058:008
God has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the
disbelievers, the Fire of Hell, abiding therein forever. It is their due. And
God has cursed them. They will have a lasting punishment. 009:068
You expect
Or do you expect to enter Paradise before the example of those who
came before you had reached you? Adversity and hardship had afflicted them, and
they were so shaken up, that the Messenger and those who believed with him
said, "When is God's victory?" Indeed, God's victory is near .002:214
Or do you expect to enter Paradise, before God has distinguished
those among you who strive, and before He has distinguished the steadfast.

Or do you think that you will be left alone, without God
identifying which of you will strive, and take no supporters apart from God,
His Messenger, and the believers? God is well aware of what you do. 009:016.
Did you think that we created you in vain, and that to us you will
not be returned? 023:115
Think them
It is for the poor; those who are restrained in the way of God,
and unable to travel in the land. The unaware would think them rich, due to
their dignity. You will recognize them by their features. They do not ask from
people insistently. Whatever charity you give, God is aware of it. 002:273
You would think them awake, although they
were asleep. And we turned them over to the right, and to the left, with their
dog stretching its paws across the threshold. Had you looked at them, you would
have turned away from them in flight, and been.018:018 filled with fear of them
Assumed
And among them are those who twist the Scripture with their
tongues, that you may think it from the Scripture, when it is not from the
Scripture. And they say, "It is from God," when it is not from God.
They tell lies and attribute them to God, knowingly.003:078
They assumed there would be no punishment, so they turned blind
and deaf. Then God redeemed them, but then again many of them turned blind and
deaf. But God is seeing of what they do.005:071
Those who perpetrated the slander are a band of you. Do not
consider it bad for you, but it is good for you. Each person among them bears
his share in the sin. As for him who played the major role-for him is a
terrible punishment.024:011
When you rumored it with your tongues, and
spoke with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, and you considered it
trivial; but according to God, it is serious.024:015
Consider - assume that
Do not consider those killed in the cause of God as dead. In fact,
they are alive, at their Lord, well provided for.003:169
Those who disbelieve should not assume that we respite them for
their own good. In fact, we only respite them so that they may increase in
sinfulness. A humiliating torment awaits them.003:178
Those who withhold what God has given them of his bounty should
not assume that is good for them. In fact, it is bad for them. They will be
encircled by their hoardings on the Day of Resurrection. To God belongs the
inheritance of the heavens and the earth, and God is well acquainted with what
you do.003:180
Do not think that those who rejoice in what they have done, and
love to be praised for what they have not done-do not think they can evade the
punishment. They will have a painful punishment.003:188
Let not the disbelievers assume that they are ahead. They will not
escape.008:059
Do not ever think that God is unaware of what the
wrongdoers do. He only defers them until a Day when the sights stare.014:042
Do not ever think that God will break His promise to His
messengers. God is Strong, Able to Avenge.008:047
Never think that those
who disbelieve can escape on earth. Their place is the Fire; a miserable
destination.024:057
Is sufficient for us?
Those to whom the people have said, "The people have
mobilized against you, so fear them." But this only increased them in
faith, and they said, "God is enough for us; He is the Excellent Protector.”
003:173
And when it is said to them, "Come to what God has revealed,
and to the Messenger," they say, "Sufficient for us is what we found
our forefathers upon." Even if their forefathers knew nothing, and were
not guided? 005:104
If only they were content with what God and His Messenger have
given them, and said, "God is sufficient for us; God will give us of His
bounty, and so will His Messenger; to God we eagerly turn.”009:059
Calculation
It is He Who breaks the dawn. And He made the night for rest, and
the sun and the moon for calculation. Such is the disposition of the Almighty,
the All-Knowing.003:096
The sun and the moon
move according to plan. 055:005
Perhaps my Lord will give me something better than your garden,
and release upon it thunderbolts from the sky, so it becomes barren waste.

They assume
Some He has guided, and some have deserved misguidance. They have
adopted the devils for patrons rather than God, and they assume that they are
guided. 003:030
Those whose efforts in this world are misguided, while they assume
that they are doing well.” 018:104
Do they assume that, in furnishing them
with wealth and children? 023:055
They assumed that the confederates had not withdrawn. But were the
confederates to advance, they would wish they were in the desert with the
Bedouins, inquiring about your news. And if they were among you, they would
have done little fighting. 033:020
Or do they think that we cannot hear their secrets and their
conspiracies? Yes indeed, our messengers are by them, writing down. 043:080
They hinder them from the path, though they
think they are guided. 043:037
On the Day when God will resurrect them altogether-they will swear
to Him, as they swear to you, thinking that they are upon something.. Indeed, they themselves are the liars. 058:018
When you see them, their appearance impresses you. And when they
speak, you listen to what they say. They are like propped-up timber. They think
every shout is aimed at them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. God
condemns them; how deluded they are. 063:004!
Count on
If they intend to deceive you-God is sufficient for you. It is He
who supported you with His aid, and with the believers. 008:062
O prophet! Count on God, and on the believers who have followed
you.008:064
Allah enough for me
If they turn away, say, "God is enough for me; there is no
god except He; in Him I have put my trust; He is the Lord of the Sublime Throne.”
009:129
And if you asked them,
"Who created the heavens and the earth?"
they would surely say, “Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what
you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His
harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say,
"Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers
." 039:038
Know
Did you know that the People of the Cave and the Inscription were
of our wondrous signs? 018:009
Suppose
Do those who disbelieve think that they can take my servants for
masters instead of me? We have prepared Hell for the hospitality of the
faithless. 018:102
Have the people supposed that they will be left alone to say,
"We believe," without being put to the test.029:002
Or do those who commit sins think they can fool us? Terrible is
their opinion.029:004
Do those who perpetrate the evil deeds assume that we will regard
them as equal to those who believe and do righteous deeds, whether in their
life or their death? Evil is their judgment.045:021
Do those in whose hearts is sickness think that God will not
expose their malice? 047:029
Imagine
Or do you assume that most of them hear or understand? They are
just like cattle, but even more errant in their way.025:044
And you see the mountains, and imagine them fixed, yet they pass,
as the passing of the clouds-the making of God, who has perfected everything.
He is fully informed of what you do.027:088
They will not fight you all together except from fortified strongholds,
or from behind walls. Their hostility towards each other is severe. You would
think they are united, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a
people who do not understand.059:014
Think
As for those who disbelieve, their works are like a mirage in a
desert. The thirsty assumes it is to be water. Until, when he has reached it,
he finds it to be nothing, but there he finds God, Who settles his account in
full. God is swift in reckoning.024:039
Does man think that we will not reassemble his bones? 075:003
Does man think that he will be left without purpose? 075:036
Does he think that no one has power over him? 090:005
Does he think that no one sees him? 090:007
Thinking that his wealth has made him immortal.104:003
Allah will suffice him
And will provide for him from where he never expected. Whoever
relies on God-He will suffice him. God will accomplish His purpose. God has set
a measure to all things. 065:003
Thought
It was said to her, "Go inside the palace." And when she
saw it, she thought it was a deep pond, and she bared her legs. He said,
"It is a palace paved with glass." She said, "My Lord, I have
done wrong to myself, and I have submitted with Solomon, to God, Lord of the
Worlds.”027:044
Passing among them are eternalized youths. If you see them, you
would think them sprinkled pearls.076:019
CHAPTER TWO
Sadness
Fear and sadness
We said, "Go down from it, all of you.
Yet whenever guidance comes to you from me, then whoever follows my
guidance-they have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve.002:038
Those who believe, and the Jews, and the Sabians, and the
Christians-whoever believes in God and the Last Day, and does what is
right-they have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve.005:069
We sent the messengers only as bearers of good news and as warner’s.
Those who believe and reform have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve.006:048
O Children of Adam! When messengers from among you come to you,
relating to you my revelations-whoever practices piety and reforms-upon them
shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.007:035
Those who say, "Our Lord is God," then lead a righteous
life-they have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve.046:013
Those who believe, and those who are Jewish, and the Christians,
and the Sabians-any who believe in God and the Last Day, and act
righteously-will have their reward with their Lord; they have nothing to fear,
nor will they grieve.002:062
In fact, whoever
submits himself to God, and is a doer of good, will have his reward with his
Lord-they have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve.002:112
Those who spend their wealth in the way of God, and then do not
follow up what they spent with reminders of their generosity or with insults,
will have their reward with their Lord-they have nothing to fear, nor shall
they grieve.002:262
Those who spend their wealth by night and day, privately and
publicly, will receive their reward from their Lord. They have nothing to fear,
nor shall they grieve.002:274
Those who believe, and do good deeds, and pray regularly, and give
charity-they will have their reward with their Lord; they will have no fear,
nor shall they grieve.002:277
Unquestionably, God's friends have nothing to fear, nor shall they
grieve.010:062
Delighting in what God has given them out of His grace, and happy
for those who have not yet joined them; that they have nothing to fear, nor
will they grieve.0003:170
Surely, those who say: "Our Lord is God," and then go
straight, the angels will descend upon them: "Do not fear, and do not
grieve, but rejoice in the news of the Garden which you were promised.041:030
"Are these the ones you swore God will not
touch with mercy?" "Enter the Garden; you have nothing to fear, and
you will not grieve.”007:049
O My servants, you
have nothing to fear on that Day, nor will you grieve.043:068
We inspired the mother of Moses: "Nurse him; then, when you
fear for him, cast him into the river, and do not fear, nor grieve; we will
return him to you, and make him one of the messengers.”028:007
Then, when our envoys came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he
was troubled and distressed on their account. They said, "Do not fear, nor
grieve. We will save you and your family, except for your wife, who will remain
behind.”029:033
Say, Sadness
We know that what they say grieves you. It is not you they reject,
but it is God's revelations that the wicked deny.003:033
If you do not help him, God has already helped him, when those who
disbelieved expelled him, and he was the second of two in the cave. He said to
his friend, "Do not worry, God is with us." And God made His
tranquility descend upon him, and supported him with forces you did not see,
and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of God is
the Highest. God is Mighty and Wise.009:040
Nor on those who approach you, wishing to ride with you, and you
said, "I have nothing to carry you on." So they went away, with their
eyes overflowing with tears, sorrowing for not finding the means to spend.009:092
And let not their sayings dishearten you. All power is God's. He
is the Hearer, the Knower.010:065
He said, "It worries me that you would take him away. And I
fear the wolf may eat him while you are careless of him.”012:013
Then he turned away from them, and said, "O my bitterness for
Joseph." and his eyes turned white from sorrow, and he became depressed.012:084
He said, "I only
complain of my grief and sorrow to God, and I know from God what you do not
know.”012:086
And they will say, "Praise God, who has lifted all sorrow
from us. Our Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciative.035:034
So let their words not
sadden you. We know what they conceal, and what they reveal.036:076
And do not be saddened by those who rush
into disbelief
And do not be saddened by those who rush
into disbelief. They will not harm God in the least. God desires to give them
no share in the Hereafter. A terrible torment awaits them.003:176
O Messenger! Do not let those who are quick to disbelief grieve
you-from among those who say with their mouths, "We believe," but
their hearts do not believe; and from among the Jews-listeners to lies,
listeners to other people who did not come to you. They distort words from
their places, and they say, "If you are given this, accept it; but if you
are not given it, beware." Whomever God has willed to divert, you have
nothing for him from God. Those are they whose hearts God does not intend to
purify. For them is disgrace in this world, and for them is a great punishment
in the Hereafter.005:041
The apple of eye and Sadness
When your sister walked along, and said,
'Shall I tell you about someone who will take care of him?' So we returned you
to your mother, that she may be comforted, and not sorrow. And you killed a
person, but we saved you from stress; and we tested you thoroughly. And you
stayed years among the people of Median. Then you came back, as ordained, O
Moses.020:040
Thus we returned him
to his mother, that she may be comforted, and not grieve, and know that God's
promise is true. But most of them do not know.028:013
You may defer any of them you wish, and receive any of them you
wish. Should you desire any of those you had deferred, there is no blame on
you. This is more proper, so that they will be comforted, and not be grieved,
and be content with what you have given each one of them. God knows what is
within your hearts. God is omniscient and clement.033:051
Guile and Sadness
So be patient. Your patience is solely from
God. And do not grieve over them, and do not be stressed by their schemes.016:127
But do not grieve over them, and do not be troubled by what they
plot.027:070
Causes of sadness are dismay, disbelief,
hostility intimate, worry and sorrow
The Supreme Fear will not worry them, and
the angels will receive them: "This is your Day which you were promised.”021:103
Pharaoh's household picked him up, to be an opponent and a sorrow
for them. Pharaoh, Hamaan, and their troops were sinners.028:008
Whoever disbelieves-let not his disbelief sadden you. To us is
their return. Then we will inform them of what they did. God knows what lies
within the hearts.031:023
Conspiracies are from Satan, that he may dishearten those who
believe; but he will not harm them in the least, except by leave of God. So let
the believers put their trust in God.058:010
And do not waver, nor feel remorse. You are the superior ones, if
you are believers.003:139
Remember when you fled, not caring for anyone, even though the
Messenger was calling you from your rear. Then He repaid you with sorrow upon
sorrow, so that you would not grieve over what you missed, or for what
afflicted you. God is informed of what you do.003:153
Do not extend your eyes towards what we have bestowed on some
couples of them to enjoy, and do not grieve over them, and lower your wing to
the believers.015:088
Treatment of sadness are piety and inform
yields
Whereupon he called her from beneath her: "Do not worry; your
Lord has placed a stream beneath you.019:024
And God will save those who maintained righteousness to their
place of salvation. No harm will touch them, nor will them grieve.039:061
CHAPTER
THREE
Balance
Measure and Weight
And do not come near the property of the orphan, except with the
best intentions, until he reaches maturity. And give full weight and full measure, equitably. We do not
burden any soul beyond its capacity. And when you speak, be fair, even if it
concerns a close relative. And fulfill your covenant with God. All this He has
enjoined upon you, so that you may take heed.006:152
And to Median, their
brother Shuaib. He said, “O my people, worship God; you have no god other than
Him. A clear proof has come to you from your Lord. Give full measure
and weight, and do not cheat people out of their
rights, and do not corrupt the land once it has been set right. This is better
for you, if you are believers.”007:085
And to Median, their brother Shuaib. He said, “O my people,
worship God; you have no god other than Him. And do not short measure or short weight. I see you in good
circumstances, but I fear for you the agony of an encompassing Day.”011:084
“O my people! Give full measure and full weight, in all fairness, and
do not cheat the people out of their rights, and do not spread corruption in
the land.011:085
Measure and weigh
And give full measure when you measure,
and weigh with accurate scales. That is fair, and the best determination.017:035

The book and the
balance
It is God who revealed the Book with the truth, and the Balance. And what will make you
realize that perhaps the Hour is near? 042:017
We sent our messengers with the clear proofs, and we sent down
with them the Book and the Balance, that humanity may uphold justice. And we
sent down iron, in which is violent force, and benefits for humanity. That God
may know who supports Him and His messengers invisibly. God is Strong and
Powerful.057:025
The Balance
And the sky, He raised; and He set up
the balance. 055:007
So do not transgress
in the balance.055:008
But maintain the weights with justice, and do not violate the
balance.055:009
Weigh
And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will
be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy - it is they who will be the
successful.007:008
But maintain the weights with justice, and do not violate the
balance.055:009
Those are the ones who disbelieve in the
verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become
worthless; and we will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any
importance.018:105
And weigh with an even balance.026:182
CHAPTER FOUR
EVIL
The worst of beasts At Allah
The
worst of animals to God are the deaf and dumb those who do not reason.008:022
The
worst of creatures in God's view are those who disbelieve. They have no faith.008:055
Evil venue
They said, “If he has stolen, a brother of
his has stolen before.” But Joseph kept it to himself, and did not reveal it to
them. He said, “You are in a worse situation, and God is Aware of what you
allege.” 012:077
Say,
“Whoever is in error, the Most Merciful will lead him on.” Until, when they see
what they were promised—either the punishment, or the Hour. Then they will know
who was in worse position and weaker in forces.019:075
Evil touches
(Despair - despair - alarming – called)
When we bless the human being, he turns away
and distances himself. But when adversity touches him, he is in despair.017:083
The
human being never tires of praying for good things; but when adversity afflicts
him, he despairs and loses hope.041:049
When
we provide comfort for the human being, he withdraws and distances himself; but
when adversity befalls him, he starts lengthy prayers.041:051
Touched
by adversity, he is fretful.070:020
With evil

The human being prays for evil as he prays
for good. The human being is very hasty.017:011
Every soul will taste death. We burden you
with adversity and prosperity—a test. And to us you will be returned.021:035
It shoots sparks as castles.077:032
Worse
(A lie – work)
Those
who perpetrated the slander are a band of you. Do not consider it bad for you,
but it is good for you. Each person among them bears his share in the sin. As
for him who played the major role—for him is a terrible punishment.024:011
And whoever has done an
atom's weight of evil will see it.099:008
Sinister
(Evil men - bouncing - he
wanted)
And they will say, “What is it with us that
we do not see men we used to count among the wicked? 038:062
Was
the message given to him, out of all of us? In fact, he is a wicked liar.”054:025
They
will know tomorrow who the wicked liar is.054:026
We do
not know whether ill is intended for those on earth, or if their Lord intends
goodness for them.072:010
From the evil of
From the evil of what He created.113:002
And from the evil of the
darkness as it gathers.113:003
And
from the evil of those who practice sorcery.113:004
And
from the evil of an envious when his envies.113:005
From
the evil of the sneaky whisperer.114:004
Evil
Fighting is ordained for you, even though you
dislike it. But it may be that you dislike something while it is good for you,
and it may be that you like something while it is bad for you. God knows, and
you do not know.002:216
So God
will protect them from the ills of that Day, and will grant them radiance and
joy.076:011
They
fulfill their vows, and dread a Day whose ill is widespread.076:007
The evil
If God were to accelerate the ill for the
people, as they wish to accelerate the good, their term would have been
fulfilled. But we leave those who do not expect our encounter to blunder in
their excesses.010:011
CHAPTER FIVE
LUCK
Luck in the afterlife
And do
not be saddened by those who rush into disbelief. They will not harm God in the
least. God desires to give them no share in the Hereafter. A
terrible torment awaits them.003:176
Luck of two females
God
instructs you regarding your children: The male receives the equivalent of the share of two
females. If they are daughters, more
than two, they get two-thirds of what he leaves. If there is only one, she gets
one-half. As for the parents, each gets one-sixth of what he leaves, if he had
children. If he had no children, and his parents inherit from him, his mother
gets one-third. If he has siblings, his mother gets one-sixth. After fulfilling
any bequest and paying off debts. Your parents and your children—you do not
know which are closer to you in welfare. This is God's Law. God is Knowing and
Judicious.004:011
They
ask you for a ruling. Say, “God gives you a ruling concerning the person who
has neither parents nor children.” If a man dies, and leaves no children, and
he had a sister, she receives one-half of what he leaves. And he inherits from
her if she leaves no children. But if there are two sisters, they receive
two-thirds of what he leaves. If the siblings are men and women, the male
receives the share of two females.” God makes things clear for you, lest you err.

Luck than stated
Because of their breaking
their pledge, we cursed them, and made their hearts hard. They twist the words
out of their context, and they disregarded some of what they were
reminded of. You will always witness deceit from them, except for a few of
them. But pardon them, and overlook. God loves the doers of good.
And from those who say,
“We are Christians,” We received their pledge, but they neglected some of
what they were reminded of. So we provoked enmity and hatred among them
until the Day of Resurrection; God will then inform them of what they used to
craft. 005:013+014
Great fortune
And he went out before his people in his
splendor. Those who desired the worldly life said, “If only we possessed the
likes of what Quaroon was given. He is indeed.028:079 very fortunate
But none will attain it
except those who persevere, and none will attain it except the.041:035 very fortunate
CHAPTER SIX
HEALING
God is healing
And when I get sick, He heals me.026:080
Syrup wherein is healing for people
Then
eat of all the fruits, and go along the pathways of your Lord, with precision.
From their bellies emerges a fluid of diverse colors, containing healing for
the people. Surely in this is a sign for people who reflect.016:069
Quran healing for what is in the chests of Believers
We
send down in the Quran healing and mercy for the believers, but it increases
the wrongdoers only in loss.017:082
Had we
made it a Quran in a foreign language, they would have said, “If only its
verses were made clear?” Non-Arabic and an Arab? Say, “For those who believe,
it is guidance and healing. But as for those who do not believe: there is
heaviness in their ears, and it is blindness for them. These are being called
from a distant place.041:044
O people! There has come to you advice from
your Lord, and healing for what is in the hearts, and guidance and mercy for
the believers.010:057
CHAPTER SEVEN
Delight
White and delicious to the
drinkers; 037:046
Is the description of
Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water
unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine
delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will
have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of]
those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water
that will sever their intestines? 047:015
CHAPTER EIGHT
PLANET
1 – The planets were being as faked
gods.
(So when the night over-shadowed him, he saw a
planet; said he: Is this my Lord? So when it set, he said: I do not love the
setting ones.) 006.076

Allah is the light of the
heavens and the earth; a likeness of His light is as a niche in which is a
lamp, the lamp is in a glass, (and) the glass is as it were a brightly
shining pearl planet, lit from a blessed olive-tree, neither eastern
nor western, the oil whereof almost gives light though fire touch it not--
light upon light-- Allah guides to His light whom He pleases, and Allah sets
forth parables for men, and Allah is Cognizant of all things. 024.035

CHAPTER NINE
CREATURE
Allah has created every [living]
creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of
them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four.
Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.024:045
And when the word befalls them, we will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of our verses, not certain [in faith].027:082
And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.029:060

He created the
heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set
mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every

And when we decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to
the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he
fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would
not have remained in humiliating punishment.034:014
And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, seeing.035:045
And of his signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and what He has dispersed throughout them of creatures. And He, for gathering them when He wills, is competent.042:029
And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain

Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason.008:022

Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the
heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the
mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon
many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allah humiliates - for him
there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills.022:018
