SEX IN QURAAN
SAMY MAHDY
Introduction
In
a world where truth, falsehood and good are mixed up with evil and moral
turbulence. When we talk about sex in human life, we have to determine the
source that leads us to the path of truth, and this source is the Holy Quran
and from which we differentiate between many things where the facts have been
confused and spread by those who trade religion to buy their world. I have put
points on the letters in this subject, calling Allah to accept our actions and
introduce us in the righteous.
Chapter One
Mating
The couple
The
couple here means the couple doing what is so-called breeding intermarriage
of the living creatures
And of all things we created two
mates; perhaps you will remember. 51:49
The couple are male and female
And that He creates the two mates - the
male and female 53:45
And made of him two mates,
the male and the female.
75:39
And the earth - We spread it out and cast
therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every
beautiful kind, 50:07
In both of them are of every fruit, two mates. 55:52
Or He married them [both] males and females, and He renders whom He wills
barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent. 42:50
Pairs
And other [pairing of punishments] of its
type [in various] kinds.38:58
The
pairing here is a combination of two things such as a pair of shoes or shirt
and tie and this is traded by the astray clergymen who do marriage between a
girl and a dog or a man and a donkey or two males or two females of humans and this in order to earn money .... The
religion of Allah requires marriage between male and female only
And you become [of] three Pairs: 56:07
But if you want to replace one wife with another and you have given one
of them a great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would
you take it in injustice and manifest sin? 04:20
O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then
[consider that] indeed, we created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then
from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that
we may show you. And we settle in the wombs whom we will for a specified term,
then we bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach
your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and
among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he
knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren,
but when we send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something]
of every beautiful kind. 22:05
He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the
earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed
therein from every creature. And we sent down rain from the sky and made grow
therein [plants] of every noble kind. 31:10
Paired
And when the souls are paired 81:07
Means" each soul was given its own body" Then merged with their counterparts
Your
mate
And we said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat
therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach
this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."02:35
And "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat from
wherever you will but do not approach this tree, lest you be among the
wrongdoers."07:19
So We said, "O Adam, indeed this
is an enemy to you and to your wife. Then let him not remove you from Paradise
so you would suffer. 04:117
And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah
bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear
Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to
disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear
Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in
order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives
of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the
command of Allah accomplished. 33:37
His wife
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited
during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils
disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two
angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone
unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing
magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause
separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it
except by permission of Allah. And the people learn what harms them and does
not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever
purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is
that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew. 02:102
So We responded to him, and We gave
to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good
deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly
submissive. 21:90
Husband
And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful
to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him. And if the
latter husband divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon the woman and her
former husband for returning to each other if they think that they can keep
[within] the limits of Allah . These are the limits of Allah, which He makes
clear to a people who know. 02:230
Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you, [O
Muhammad], concerning her husband and directs her complaint to Allah. And Allah
hears your dialogue; indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing.58:01
His mate
O mankind, fear
your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and
dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom
you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an
Observer.04:01
It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that
he might dwell in security with her. And when he covers her, she carries a
light burden and continues therein. And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke
Allah, their Lord, "If You should give us a good [child], we will surely
be among the grateful."07:189
He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He
produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the
wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That
is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so
how are you averted? 39:06
It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that
he might dwell in security with her. And when he covers her, she carries a
light burden and continues therein. And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke
Allah, their Lord, "If You should give us a good [child], we will surely
be among the grateful." 07:189
[So it was], until when Our
command came and the oven overflowed, We said, "Load upon the ship of each
[creature] two mates and your family, except those about whom the word has
preceded, and [include] whoever has believed." But none had believed with
him, except a few.
And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains
and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the
night to cover the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought?
13:03
So We inspired to him, "Construct the
ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and
the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your
family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do
not address me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be
drowned. 23:27
And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that
they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they
are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is
what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness.
And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein
eternally.02:25
Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those
who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which
rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval
from Allah . And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants -03:15
But those who
believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which
rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses,
and we will admit them to deepening shade. 04:57
And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on
whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear
Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to
disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear
Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in
order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives
of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the
command of Allah accomplished. 33:37
Not lawful to you, [O Muhammad], are [any additional] women after [this],
nor [is it] for you to exchange them for [other] wives, even if their beauty
were to please you, except what your right hand possesses. And ever is Allah,
over all things, an Observer. 33:52
And we have already sent messengers before you and assigned to them wives
and descendants. And it was not for a messenger to come with a sign except by
permission of Allah. For every term is a decree. 13:38
Do not extend your eyes toward that
by which we have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers,
and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 15:88
And Allah has made for you from yourselves mates and has made for you
from your mates sons and grandchildren and has provided for you from the good
things. Then in falsehood do they believe and in the favor of Allah they
disbelieve? 16:72
[It is He] who has made for you the
earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down
from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants.20:53
And do not
extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some]
categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We
test them. And the provision of your Lord is better
and more enduring.20:131
And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop;
then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except
with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted
[additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register.
Indeed, that for Allah is easy. 35:11
And of His signs is that He created for you
from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in
them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs
for a people who give thought
30:21
[He is] Creator of the heavens
and the earth. He has made for you from yourselves,
mates, and among the cattle, mates; He multiplies you thereby. There is nothing
like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the seeing. 42:11
Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced
you [all], would substitute for him wives better than you - submitting [to
Allah ], believing, devoutly obedient, repentant, worshipping, and traveling -
[ones] previously married and virgins. 66:05
And we created you in pairs
78:08
Their husbands
And when you divorce women and they have fulfilled their
term, do not prevent them from remarrying their [former] husbands if they agree
among themselves on an acceptable basis. That is instructed to whoever of you
believes in Allah and the Last Day. That is better for you and purer, and Allah
knows and you know not. 02:232
And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives
behind - they, [the wives, shall] wait four months and ten [days]. And when
they have fulfilled their term, then there is no blame upon you for what they
do with themselves in an acceptable manner. And Allah is [fully] acquainted
with what you do.02:234
And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives behind - for
their wives is a bequest: maintenance for one year without turning [them] out.
But if they leave [of their own accord], then there is no blame upon you for
what they do with themselves in an acceptable way. And Allah is exalted in
Might and Wise.02:240
Your
wives
And for you is
half of what your wives leave if they have no child. But if they have a child,
for you is one fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they [may have]
made or debt. And for the wives is one fourth if you leave no child. But if you
leave a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave, after any bequest
you [may have] made or debt. And if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants
nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a
sixth. But if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest
which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment [caused]. [This is] an
ordinance from Allah, and Allah is Knowing and Forbearing. 04:12
Say, [O Muhammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your
wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you
fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you
than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah
executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient
people." 09:24
Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior.
And He has not made your wives whom you declare unlawful your mothers. And he
has not made your adopted sons your [true] sons. That is [merely] your saying
by your mouths, but Allah says the truth, and He guides to the [right] way. 33:04
And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you
subsequently obtain [something], then give those whose wives have gone the
equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allah, in whom you are
believers.60:11
O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are
enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive -
then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. 64:14
And they say,
"What is in the bellies of these animals is exclusively for our males and
forbidden to our females. But if it is [born] dead, then all of them have
shares therein." He will punish them for their description. Indeed, He is
Wise and Knowing. 06:139
And those who say, "Our Lord,
grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an
example for the righteous." 25:74
Their
couples
Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were
righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their descendants. And the
angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying], 13:23
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed,
they will not be blamed – 23:06
Except from their wives or those their right hands
possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed -70:30
And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses
except themselves - then the witness of one of them [shall be] four testimonies
[swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful.24:06
They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches.36:56
[The angels
will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what
they used to worship 37:22
Our Lord, and admit them to
gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was
righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is
You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 40:08
Except
from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not
to be blamed -70:30
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed,
they will not be blamed -23:06
His wives
The Prophet is more worthy of
the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their
mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance]
in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except
that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was
in the Book inscribed.33:06
And do not
extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some]
categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We
test them. And the provision of your Lord is better
and more enduring.20:131
And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop;
then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except
with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted
[additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register.
Indeed, that for Allah is easy. 35:11
And of His signs is that He created for you
from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in
them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs
for a people who give thought
30:21
[He is] Creator of the heavens
and the earth. He has made for you from yourselves,
mates, and among the cattle, mates; He multiplies you thereby. There is nothing
like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the seeing. 42:11
Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced
you [all], would substitute for him wives better than you - submitting [to
Allah ], believing, devoutly obedient, repentant, worshipping, and traveling -
[ones] previously married and virgins. 66:05
And we created you in pairs
78:08
O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of
the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness.
But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without
seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the
Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth.
And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition.
That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or
lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him,
ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity.33:53
And [remember] when the Prophet confided to one of his wives a statement;
and when she informed [another] of it and Allah showed it to him, he made known
part of it and ignored a part. And when he informed her about it, she said, "Who told you this?" He said,
"I was informed by the Knowing, the Acquainted."66:03
O Prophet, say to your wives,
"If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I
will provide for you and give you a gracious release.33:28
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to
whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses
from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your
paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of
your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated
with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the
Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other]
believers. We certainly know what we have made obligatory upon them concerning
their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order
that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and
Merciful.33:50
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the
believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is
more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah
Forgiving and Merciful.33:59
O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful
for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and
Merciful.66:01
Exalted is He who created all pairs - from what the earth grows and from
themselves and from that which they do not know.36:36
Mate
friend
[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could
He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And
He is, of all things, knowing.06:101
And his wife and his brother 70:12
And [it teaches] that exalted is the
nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son 72:03
Chapter Two
And introduce for yourselves
And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him. She closed the
doors and said, "Come, you." He said, "[I seek] the refuge of
Allah. Indeed, he is my master, who has made good my residence. Indeed,
wrongdoers will not succeed."12:23
[Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a
witness from her family testified. "If his shirt is torn from the front,
then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars.12:26
And women in the
city said, "The wife of al-'Azeez is seeking to seduce her slave boy; he
has impassioned her with love. Indeed, we see her [to be] in clear
error."12:30
She said, "That is the one about whom you blamed me. And I certainly
sought to seduce him, but he firmly refused; and if he will not do what I order
him, he will surely be imprisoned and will be of those debased."12:32
Said [the king to the women], "What was your condition when you
sought to seduce Joseph?" They said, "Perfect is Allah! We know about
him no evil." The wife of al-'Azeez said, "Now the truth has become
evident. It was I who sought to seduce him, and indeed, he is of the
truthful.12:51
And they had demanded from him his guests, but we obliterated their eyes,
[saying], "Taste My punishment and warning."54:37
Mattered
And she certainly determined [to
seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her had he not seen the proof of his
Lord. And thus [it was] that we should avert from him evil and immorality.
Indeed, he was of our chosen servants.12:24
LOVE
Pouring
He said, "My Lord, prison is
more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And if you do not avert
from me their plan, I might incline toward them and [thus] be of the
ignorant."12:33
The intensity of love
And [yet], among the people are those
who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should]
love Allah. But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah. And if only
they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they
will be certain] that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in
punishment.02:165
Love fellowship
Say, [O Muhammad], "If you
should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you
your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."03:31
Here you are loving them but they are
not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture - all of it. And when they
meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite
their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is
knowing of that within the breasts."03:119
And they ask you about menstruation.
Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not
approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then
come to them from where Allah has ordained for you. Indeed, Allah loves those
who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves."09:24
Do not stand [for prayer] within it -
ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for
you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah
loves those who purify themselves.09:108
The ones who prefer the worldly life
over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allah, seeking to make it
(seem) deviant. Those are in extreme error.14:03
Indeed, those who like that
immorality should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will
have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah knows and
you do not know.24:19
And he said, "Indeed, I gave
preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until
the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."38:32
And as for Thamud, We guided them,
but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating
punishment seized them for what they used to earn.41:17
And know that among you is the
Messenger of Allah. If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would be
in difficulty, but Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing
in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and
disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided.49:07
Passion of love
And women in the city said, "The wife of al-'Azeez is
seeking to seduce her slave boy; he has impassioned her with love. Indeed, we
see her [to be] in clear error."12:30
Allah throws love from him
[Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the
river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy
to me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from me that you would
be brought up under my eye.20:39
And indeed he is, in love of wealth,
intense.100:08
Protection
of the genitals
And they who guard their private parts 23:05
Tell the believing men to reduce
[some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them.
Indeed, Allah is acquainted with what they do.24:30
And tell the believing women to
reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose
their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a
portion of] their head covers over their chests and not expose their adornment
except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons,
their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters'
sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male
attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the
private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what
they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O
believers that you might succeed.24:31
Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim
women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient
women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women,
the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the
fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the
women who do so, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so -
for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.33:35
And [mention] the one who guarded her
chastity, so we blew into her [garment] through our angel [Gabriel], and we
made her and her son a sign for the worlds.21:91
And [the example of] Mary, the
daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity, so we blew into [her garment]
through our angel, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures
and was of the devoutly obedient.66:12
Chastity
And test the orphans [in their
abilities] until they reach marriageable age. Then if you perceive in them
sound judgement, release their property to them. And do not consume it
excessively and quickly, [anticipating] that they will grow up. And whoever,
[when acting as guardian], is self-sufficient should refrain [from taking a
fee]; and whoever is poor - let him take according to what is acceptable. Then
when you release their property to them, bring witnesses upon them. And
sufficient is Allah as Accountant.04:06
But let them who find not [the means
for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from
His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual emancipation] from among
whom your right hands possess - then make a contract with them if you know
there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allah which He
has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they
desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And
if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allah is [to them], after their
compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful.24:33
And women of post-menstrual age who
have no desire for marriage - there is no blame upon them for putting aside
their outer garments [but] not displaying adornment. But to modestly refrain
[from that] is better for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.24:60
And you were not covering yourselves,
lest your hearing testify against you or your sight or your skins, but you
assumed that Allah does not know much of what you do.41:22
Shyness
Then one of the two women came to him
walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you that he may
reward you for having watered for us." So when he came to him and related
to him the story, he said, "Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing
people."
Engagement
of women
There is no blame upon you for
that to which you [indirectly] allude concerning a proposal to women or for
what you conceal within yourselves. Allah knows that you will have them in
mind. But do not promise them secretly except for saying a proper saying. And
do not determine to undertake a marriage contract until the decreed period
reaches its end. And know that Allah knows what is within yourselves, so beware
of Him. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.02:235
Admittance
O you who have believed, let those
whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty
among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the
dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after
the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame
upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate
among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the
verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.24:58
Chapter Three
COITUS
COITUS
And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing
slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And
do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a
believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you.
Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to
forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people
that perhaps they may remember.02:221
And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then
marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you
fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand
possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice]. 04:03
And they request from you, [O Muhammad], a [legal] ruling concerning
women. Say, " Allah gives you a ruling about them and [about] what has
been recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan girls to whom you do not
give what is decreed for them - and [yet] you desire to marry them - and
concerning the oppressed among children and that you maintain for orphans
[their rights] in justice." And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is
ever knowing of it. 04: 127
And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male
slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from
His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.24:32
He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of these, my two daughters,
on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten,
it will be [as a favor] from you. And I do not wish to put you in difficulty.
You will find me, if Allah wills, from among the righteous."28:27
O You who have believed, when you marry believing women and then divorce
them before you have touched them, then there is not for you any waiting period
to count concerning them. So provide for them and give them a gracious release.33:49
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have
given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what
Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal
uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your
maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you
and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet
wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers.
We certainly know what we have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives
and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there
will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.33:50
And test the orphans [in their abilities] until they reach marriageable
age. Then if you perceive in them sound judgement, release their property to
them. And do not consume it excessively and quickly, [anticipating] that they
will grow up. And whoever, [when acting as guardian], is self-sufficient should
refrain [from taking a fee]; and whoever is poor - let him take according to
what is acceptable. Then when you release their property to them, bring
witnesses upon them. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.04:06
And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she
is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than
him. And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon
the woman and her former husband for returning to each other if they think that
they can keep [within] the limits of Allah . These are the limits of Allah,
which He makes clear to a people who know.02:230
And do not marry those [women] whom
your fathers married, except what has already occurred. Indeed, it was an
immorality and hateful [to Allah] and was evil as a way.04:22
O you who have believed, when the
believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing
as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return
them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they
lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And
there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due
compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask
for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the
judgement of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.60:10
And they ask you about menstruation.
Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. And do not
approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then
come to them from where Allah has ordained for you. Indeed, Allah loves those
who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves."02:222
O you who have believed, do not enter
the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without
awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have
eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that
[behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But
Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask
them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts.
And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or
to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah
an enormity.33:53
And those who
pronounce thihar from their wives and then [wish to] go back on what they said
- then [there must be] the freeing of a slave before they touch one another.
That is what you are admonished thereby; and Allah is Acquainted with what you
do.58:03
And he who does not find [a slave] - then a fast for two months
consecutively before they touch one another; and he who is unable - then the
feeding of sixty poor persons. That is for you to believe [completely] in Allah
and His Messenger; and those are the limits [set by] Allah . And for the
disbelievers is a painful punishment.58:04
She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said,
"Such is Allah ; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He
only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.03:47
She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I
have not been unchaste?"19:20
O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what
you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place
of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a
journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have
contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your
faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.
04:43
O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your
faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your
feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify
yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the
place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water,
then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does
not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and
complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.05:06
Plow
Your wives
are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation
however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allah
and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers.02:223
Coition
It has been made permissible for you
the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They
are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used
to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now,
have relations with them and seek that which Allah has decreed for you. And eat
and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black
thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the sunset. And do not have
relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques.
These are the limits [set by] Allah, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah
make clear His ordinances to the people that they may become righteous. 02:178
His woman
And the one from
Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable.
Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, we
established Joseph in the land that we might teach him the interpretation of
events. And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not
know.12:21
Allah presents an example of those
who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of our
righteous servants but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from
Allah at all, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter."66:10
And Allah presents
an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My
Lord, build for me near you a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and
his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people."66:11
And indeed, I fear the successors
after me, and my wife has been barren, so give me from yourself an heir
19:05
He said, "My
Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached
extreme old age?"19:08
Chapter
Four
Divorce
Divorce
Divorced women
remain in waiting for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal
what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the Last
Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if
they want reconciliation. And due to the wives is similar to what is expected
of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men have a degree over them
[in responsibility and authority]. And Allah is exalted in Might and Wise.02:228
And if they decide on divorce - then
indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.02:227
And if he has divorced her [for the
third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries
a husband other than him. And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies],
there is no blame upon the woman and her former husband for returning to each
other if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allah . These are
the limits of Allah, which He makes clear to a people who know.02:230
And when you divorce women and they
have [nearly] fulfilled their term, either retain them according to acceptable
terms or release them according to acceptable terms, and do not keep them,
intending harm, to transgress [against them]. And whoever does that has
certainly wronged himself. And do not take the verses of Allah in jest. And
remember the favor of Allah upon you and what has been revealed to you of the
Book and wisdom by which He instructs you. And fear Allah and know that Allah
is knowing of all things.02:231
And when you divorce women and they
have fulfilled their term, do not prevent them from remarrying their [former]
husbands if they agree among themselves on an acceptable basis. That is
instructed to whoever of you believes in Allah and the Last Day. That is better
for you and purer, and Allah knows and you know not.02:232
There is no blame upon you if you
divorce women you have not touched nor specified for them an obligation. But
give them [a gift of] compensation - the wealthy according to his capability
and the poor according to his capability - a provision according to what is
acceptable, a duty upon the doers of good.02:236
And if you divorce them before you
have touched them and you have already specified for them an obligation, then
[give] half of what you specified - unless they forego the right or the one in
whose hand is the marriage contract foregoes it. And to forego it is nearer to
righteousness. And do not forget graciousness between you. Indeed Allah, of
whatever you do, is seeing.02:237
And for divorced women is a provision according to what is acceptable - a
duty upon the righteous.02:241
O You who have believed, when you marry believing women and then divorce
them before you have touched them, then there is not for you any waiting period
to count concerning them. So provide for them and give them a gracious release.33:49
O Prophet, when you [Muslims] divorce women, divorce them for [the
commencement of] their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period, and
fear Allah, your Lord. Do not turn them out of their [husbands'] houses, nor
should they [themselves] leave [during that period] unless they are committing
a clear immorality. And those are the limits [set by] Allah. And whoever
transgresses the limits of Allah has certainly wronged himself. You know not;
perhaps Allah will bring about after that a [different] matter.65:01
Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced you [all], would substitute for him
wives better than you - submitting [to Allah ], believing, devoutly obedient,
repentant, worshipping, and traveling - [ones] previously married and virgins.66:05
Chapter

Fornication
Adultery
The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried]
man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred
lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah, if you
should believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a group of the believers
witness their punishment.24:02
The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist,
and none marries her except a fornicator or a polytheist, and that has been
made unlawful to the believers.24:03
The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist,
and none marries her except a fornicator or a polytheist, and that has been
made unlawful to the believers.
The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual
intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken
by pity for them in the religion of Allah, if you should believe in Allah and
the Last Day. And let a group of the believers witness their punishment.24:02
Cruel, moreover, and an
illegitimate pretender.68:13
Indeed, you approach men with desire,
instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people."07:81
Do you indeed approach men with desire instead of women? Rather, you are
a people behaving ignorantly."27:55
Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women
and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle
and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him
the best return.03:14
Allah wants to
accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to
digress [into] a great deviation. 04:27
But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued
desires; so they are going to meet evil
19:59
Fornication
And
those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by
transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who
can forgive sins except Allah ? - and [who] do not persist in what they have
done while they know.03:135
Those who commit unlawful sexual intercourse of your women - bring
against them four [witnesses] from among you. And if they testify, confine the
guilty women to houses until death takes them or Allah ordains for them
[another] way. 04:15
O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by
compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part
of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them
in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes
therein much good. 04:19
And do not marry those [women] whom your fathers married, except what has
already occurred. Indeed, it was an immorality and hateful [to Allah ] and was
evil as a way. 04:22
And whoever among you cannot [find] the means to marry free, believing
women, then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of
believing slave girls. And Allah is most knowing about your faith. You
[believers] are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their
people and give them their due compensation according to what is acceptable.
[They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse
randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers. But once they are sheltered in
marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment
for free [unmarried] women. This [allowance] is for him among you who fears
sin, but to be patient is better for you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
04:25
And when they commit an immorality,
they say, "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has ordered us to do
it." Say, "Indeed, Allah does not order immorality. Do you say about
Allah that which you do not know" 07:28
And [We had
sent] Lot when he said to his people, "Do you commit such immorality as no
one has preceded you with from among the worlds 07:80
And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an
immorality and is evil as a way.17:32
Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread [or publicized]
among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and
the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you do not know.24:19
And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Do you commit
immorality while you are seeing 27:54
And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Indeed, you commit
such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds.29:28
O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a clear immorality -
for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.33:30
O Prophet, when you [Muslims] divorce
women, divorce them for [the commencement of] their waiting period and keep
count of the waiting period, and fear Allah, your Lord. Do not turn them out of
their [husbands'] houses, nor should they [themselves] leave [during that

found our fathers doing it, and Allah has ordered us to do it." Say,
"Indeed, Allah does not order immorality. Do you say about Allah that
which you do not know?" 07:28

you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the

And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed,
it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way.17:32
Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread

this world and the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you do not know.24:19

O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a
clear immorality - for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever
is that, for Allah, easy.33:30

Obscenity
He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allah what you
do not know.02:169
Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to
immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah
is all-Encompassing and Knowing
And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined
to her had he not seen the proof of his Lord. And thus [it was] that we should
avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of our chosen servants.12:24
Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and
forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that
perhaps you will be reminded.16:90
O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And
whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and
wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one
of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah
is Hearing and Knowing.24:21
Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and
establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the
remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.29:45
And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are
angry, they forgive, 42:37
Chapter
Six
Mendacity and
Oppress
Indeed, those who came with falsehood are a
group among you. Do not think it bad for you; rather it is good for you. For
every person among them is what [punishment] he has earned from the sin, and he
who took upon himself the greater portion thereof - for him is a great
punishment.24:11
Mendacity
But if you want to replace one wife with another and you have given one
of them a great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would
you take it in injustice and manifest sin? 04:20
But whoever earns an offense or a sin and then blames it on an innocent
[person] has taken upon himself a slander and manifest sin. 04:112
And [We cursed them] for their disbelief and their saying against Mary a
great slander, 04:156
And why, when you heard it, did you not say, "It is not for us to
speak of this. Exalted are you, [O Allah]; this is a great slander” 24:16
And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something]
other than what they have earned have certainly born upon themselves a slander
and manifest sin.33:58
O Prophet, when the believing women come to you pledging to you that they
will not associate anything with Allah, nor will they steal, nor will they
commit unlawful sexual intercourse, nor will they kill their children, nor will
they bring forth a slander they have invented between their arms and legs, nor
will they disobey you in what is right - then accept their pledge and ask
forgiveness for them of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.60:12
Chapter Seven
Sex in the
Hereafter
And "O
Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat from wherever you will but
do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers." 07:19
Intercourse of Adam and Eve in the earth
It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that
he might dwell in security with her. And when he covers her, she carries a
light burden and continues therein. And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke
Allah, their Lord, "If You should give us a good [child], we will surely
be among the grateful."07:189
Semen Creation
Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted 75:37
[He is] Creator of the heavens and the earth.
He has made for you from yourselves, mates, and among the cattle, mates; He
multiplies you thereby. There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing,
the Seeing.42:11
And who created
the species, all of them, and has made for you of ships and animals those which
you mount.43:12
People of the Resurrection
And you become [of] three pairs: 56:07
The three
pairs are the people of Paradise (the people of the right and the former) and
the people of Hell
Marriage in the Hereafter is
intercourse without semen, no menstruation, no pregnancy, and no birth
The hadeeth "narrated by Ibn Hibbaan from Abu Hurayrah that the
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when asked if there was
coitus in Paradise?"
He said "Yes"
He said, "Yes, and I swear with the one who have my soul in his hand
“It is (Dhamma Dahma) (means it is the marriage and the pushing) If one came
back from her, she return back purified virgin (Ibn al-Atheer said it is the
marriage and the pushing) Narrated by Ibn Hibban 7402 from Darj Abu Samah from
the Ibn Hajira, and said it is good narrated,
And give good tidings to those who believe and do
righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers
flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will
say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to
them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will
abide therein eternally.02:25
Say, "Shall
I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be
gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they
abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah. And Allah is
seeing of [His] servants -03:15
But those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to
gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein
are purified spouses, and we will admit them to deepening shade. 04:57
The people of paradise
Untouched before them by man or jinni -55:74
They will be reclining on
thrones lined up, and we will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful]
eyes.52:20
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens
of perpetual residence which you have promised them and whoever was righteous
among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is you who
is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.40:08
Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were
righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their descendants. And the
angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying], 13:23
They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches.36:56
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence
which you have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers,
their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is you who is the Exalted in
Might, the Wise.40:08
Enter Paradise, you and your
kinds, delighted."43:70
[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed
wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship37:22
